Social norms action with informed and engaged societies
After nearly 28 years, The Communication Initiative (The CI) Global is entering a new chapter. Following a period of transition, the global website has been transferred to the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits) in South Africa, where it will be administered by the Social and Behaviour Change Communication Division. Wits' commitment to social change and justice makes it a trusted steward for The CI's legacy and future.

Co-founder Victoria Martin is pleased to see this work continue under Wits' leadership. Victoria knows that co-founder Warren Feek (1953–2024) would have felt deep pride in The CI Global's Africa-led direction.

We honour the team and partners who sustained The CI for decades. Meanwhile, La Iniciativa de Comunicación (CILA) continues independently at lainiciativadecomunicacion.com and is linked with The CI Global site.

My 7th grade social Studies class is very engaged in this film. Their initial fear at having to read subtitles quickly died due to the easy readablity of the subtitles, it is even easy for my less proficient readers. I highly reccomend this video all students, even the problem ones are engaged, interested and stimulated into discussion from this video. Excellent springboard for gender relations discussion

Such types of Nepali Movies will surely play a vital role in order to change the belief of people. Still in nepali culture, mostly in remote areas child marriage is a big issue, which should be eradicate from the society. The major cause of early child marriage is the illiteracy and ignorance. Meanwhile we can heard the news reagrding dowry and the cause.

This movie is really a appreciable work. We must work together in order to fight this darkness which is against the humanity.
