Measuring the Difference: Guide to Planning and Evaluating Health Information Outreach

The goal of this guide is to assist the individual, organisation, or community with accessing health information resources so that they can be used more effectively in addressing any problems or barriers.
There are six stages described which show how the various phases of evaluation are integrated into the process of planning and implementing outreach activities. Various tool kits are provided at the end of each stage, such as lists of additional resources, fill-in-the-blank work forms, and case examples.
This publication was developed by the National Network of Libraries of Medicine, Pacific Northwest Region and the National Library of Medicine.
