Social Norms
After nearly 28 years, The Communication Initiative (The CI) Global is entering a new chapter. Following a period of transition, the global website has been transferred to the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits) in South Africa, where it will be administered by the Social and Behaviour Change Communication Division. Wits' commitment to social change and justice makes it a trusted steward for The CI's legacy and future.
 
Co-founder Victoria Martin is pleased to see this work continue under Wits' leadership. Victoria knows that co-founder Warren Feek (1953–2024) would have felt deep pride in The CI Global's Africa-led direction.
 
We honour the team and partners who sustained The CI for decades. Meanwhile, La Iniciativa de Comunicación (CILA) continues independently at lainiciativadecomunicacion.com and is linked with The CI Global site.

El Espacio Comunitario "Para Todos, Todo" es una iniciativa de la Asamblea de Migrantes indígenas en la ciudad de México, que tendrá como objetivo, servir como punto de confluencia para las comunidades y organizaciones indígenas del país.
Communication Strategies
Este lugar comunitario contará con:
  • Sala de cómputo a disposición de las organizaciones e individuos de la comunidad.
  • Página de internet con secciones de discusión y análisis sobre los pueblos indígenas.
  • Salas para asambleas comunitarias.
  • Estudio de grabación que permitirá la producción de programas radiofónicos en distintas lenguas indígenas.
Development Issues
Pueblos indígenas, derechos, desarrollo comunitario, medios e información.
Key Points
Este proyecto estará dirigido a: fortalecer las organizaciones indigenas mexicanas y la comunidad; construir una relación de convivencia intercultural con la sociedad en general; y buscar el reconocimiento jurídico de los indígenas migrantes de la Ciudad de México.

This is very useful information to Trinidad and Tobago. How do you view the NCECCE policy in ECCE. Why SERVOL was not included and what can be done so that SERVOL'S contribution can make a difference
