OneWorld Radio Southeast Europe (OneWorld Radio SEE) - Eastern Europe
OneWorld, the worldwide online partnership promoting global justice , has launched an internet based audio exchange in Southeast Europe.

OneWorld Radio SEE aims to be the place on the world wide web where radio stations from the region of Southeast Europe can exchange programmes at no cost on issues of human rights, civil society, democracy and sustainable development. Anyone with internet access can listen to the programming on the OneWorld Radio SEE website.OneWorld Radio SEE is a multi-lingual initiative and launches with four languages - Albanian, Macedonian, Serbian and English - with Croatian, Bosnian, Slovenian, Hungarian, Roma, Greek, Bulgarian, Turkish and Romanian to be added in the coming months.

Jackie Davies, OneWorld Radio co-ordinator, said; "In the Balkans and surrounding region, free exchange of information is vital. OneWorld Radio SEE seeks to provide an open space that breaks down boundaries and increases mutual understanding in the region and beyond."
Partners
Participating organisations in OneWorld Radio SEE include regional medianetworks, local and public radio stations and non-government organisations(NGOs). By uploading and downloading programmes, these organisations canre-broadcast them across the digital divide through traditional radio.OneWorld Radio SEE is funded by Hivos.
